Today is released in the US Underground DVD (zone 1, edited by New Yorker). This is the 167 minutes version with english and serbo-croatian languages, and english subtitles. It is already available on amazon.com. Regarding bonus, this DVD contains only an interview of Emir Kusturica in Cannes this year.

Merry christmas and happy new year 2004 ! Let's hope this year shall we finally be able to see Life is a miracle.

The MK2 release of Chaplin's The Circus DVD contains the 26 mn documentary of François Ede with Emir Kusturica.

In Zlatibor, where Life is a miracle was shot, work still goes on… In fact, Emir's big project is to build new roads, guest houses, an orthodox church, an internet café, as well as a cinema school. The school should open next spring, for the release of the new film.

Emir arrived in Paris. He is working in the studio for the edition of real film images of Life is a miracle.

I am told the editing of the film Life is a miracle is finished on video. Work starts on real images (film). Sound editing starts in parallel. For the moment, the film seems to go its way to Cannes 2004, but it's too early have certainties…

7 new Interviews translated in english. The first one, recent, was given to serbian newspaper Kurir. The others vary from 1999 to 2003. All the interviews are now fully translated.

2 exceptionnal concerts of Boban Marković ORKESTAR at the “NEW MORNING” (7-9 rue des Petites Ecuries, PARIS 10e), on 10th and 11 october 2003 at 21h00. Tickets : 20 € sold at Cultural Centre of Serbia and Montenegro. In the great tradition of the gypsy brass bands, they are these frantic and tremendous musicians who play in Underground and Arizona Dream. Undoubtly one of the most talented gipsy bands, the ten musicians of Boban Marković Orkestar have been the leaders of the copper brass bands for now 10 years. Crowned as the “better orchestra” each year since 5 years at the contest of Dragacevski Sabor de Guča (Serbia) - the most prestigious festival of coppered music, Boban Marković receives in 2001 the price of the “best trumpet”. They already bewitched more than one halls in the world by the virtuosity of their arrangements and the dynamism of their interpretations. October 10th and 11 2003, they will be in New Morning, for the second time in Paris, in a concert co-organized by Ekspreso association and the Cultural Centre of Serbia and Montenegro, after a great success on June 2 in the same room.

Emir goes back shooting… 1 week, on october the 13th, for extra scenes of Life is a miracle.

Emir Kusturica will be a guest star at the Rencontres du Cinéma d'Europe 2003 that will take place november 17th-23rd in Aubenas (Ardèche, France). 4 films will be screened : Super 8 Stories, Underground, Arizona Dream and Time of the Gypsies. Conferences animated by Michel Ciment on the films of Emir Kusturica will take place, with the presence of Emir, on november the 21st and 22nd.
