Orson Welles

Orson Welles was born in 1915 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He dies in Hollywood in 1985 of heart attack. At 26, he produces, directs and interprets his first full length feature : Citizen Kane. Financial disaster at that time, this film is today considered by many critics like the best film ever done.

In Time of the Gypsies, we see Perhan passing in front of an Orson Welles poster. He smokes a cigar, like on the picture, and the reflection of his match coincides with the one of the poster.
