To celebrate ten years of playing together, Emir Kusturica and the No Smoking Orchestra who are currently touring, release a Best Of with 20 songs from the soundtrack of Black Cat White Cat, Unza Unza Time, the soundtrack of Life is a miracle and the Opera "Time of the Gypsies" ; it is already available on amazon.com. Note : an extra song (“Duj Drama”) is available on the OpenDisc zone of the CD.

In France, after the (now obsolete) HD-DVD version, Arizona Dream is going to be re-released in glorious high-definition, thanks to a blu-ray version, which will be available on 17 June. This article is already available for pre-order on amazon.fr.

This week-end, Emir Kusturica had a pleasant time in Venice. He was invited to la Fenice, at the party following the wedding of Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault. Among the numerous guest stars, we also saw Javier Bardem, who, like the Mexican actress, was member of the Cannes jury that Emir had directed in 2005. We can think that they spoke of the ”Pancho Villa” project… Also about Pancho Villa, rumour says Emir Kusturica wishes Johnny Depp be part of it ! 18 ans after Arizona Dream, it would be something !

In Japan, under the title “Ring a wedding bell !”, the film Promise me this is finally going to be released this week-end ! For the occasion, the distributors have created a dedicated website (in Japanese) : weddingbell.jp.
