Situated on the adriatic coast, in Montenegro, Herceg-Novi is a very beautiful medieval city. Since quite a long time, it is also a place beloved by Emir Kusturica.

Entitled “UNICEF ambassadeur” in 2002, Emir Kusturica made a first concrete action of this partnership by transforming into a Cultural Center an old railway station. The center is made of a café (already open) : the Zhalo (“sand beach”) and a cinema named Aurora with 3 screens (open in september 2006). Masterclasses should be regularly given there.
